The Hopsi Express mountain station is just a few minutes' walk from the Planai mountain station. The inclined lift provides easy access to the ski school area in Hopsiwinterkinderland or, in summer, to the water world in Hopsiland and the new bike area.

In winter, you will find the Hopsi Winterkinderland in the Märchenwiese area - the perfect place for your first turns in the snow. In summer, you'll find the bike area here. This is also the perfect place for beginners to practise their first turns on a mountain bike on three different downhill routes - two for beginners (green) and one for beginners (blue).

8-Seater Gondola

This gondola lift provides a quick start to your skiing adventure, taking you from 729 meters to 1,424 meters above sea level in just 7 minutes.

The Schladming Tauern Cable Car (pendulum lift) was the first cable car in the Schladming-Dachstein region, originally opening in 1947. The current Tauern Cable Car has a capacity of 80 people per hour.

It takes you directly from the valley to an altitude of 1,825 meters. A quick transfer at the mid-station and you’re on your way to the Sender Plateau.

8-seater chairlift Kaiblinggrat

From the 2024/25 winter season, guests at Hauser Kaibling will have the most powerful chairlift in Styria at their disposal. The new 8-seater ‘Kaiblinggrat’ chairlift, which replaces the previous 4-seater ‘Quattralpina’ chairlift from 1992, has a transport capacity of 3,600 passengers per hour and takes you comfortably up to the transmitter plateau at 1,870 metres in just 4.5 minutes.

Tip: On the mountain, you’ll find the Prinzensee lake, a varied forest ropes course, and the castle playground. To get back down to the valley, you can either take the forest slide park or ride the cable car again.
